Futures gapping double digits this morning with S&P’s up 12.50 as of this writing. Gap rules are in play. Overnight inventory is 100% net long.
The 2467.25 which I’ve marked off as the balance high in the market profile image above is the key downside reference. If we are to get moving in a direction and not just keep vacillating back and forth between up and down days, then value needs to build well above this level and we should probably not even test it today, let alone get acceptance below it. A hold above it with some follow through range expansion would indicate higher confidence, a move back down below it would indicate lower confidence.
2475.00 is the ONH and 2466.75 is ONL, both are your primary references for today’s trade.
