Another new all time high on a decent expansion of range. Profile elongated but volume POC did not migrate higher with price so carry that forward. I am noting that the profile “slightly thin” but not overly so. Poor structure is more the norm than the exception in this market.
Overnight high is again the new all time high. Again for now it appears that prices are accepting up here at very high levels. Futures down only about four handles as of this writing and balancing in a narrow range in the overnight session.
Yesterday the SPX cash went to over 50 points extended over the simple 20 period moving average on the daily chart. We tend to note that as an area where the market generally starts to run out of steam. Not a hard and fast rule of thumb by any means.
